We usually have new Information websites completed within 4-7 days, but depending on orders this may be 7-10 days.
We will give you a clear indication of current timescale upon order.

Following payment, we will contact you as soon as possible (usually within an hour or two, but please allow 24) to collate the initial information we need to start the installation process. We will register any .co.uk domain name (subject to availability) you wish to use – this will be registered in your name and will be your legal property. We will establish the layout, colour scheme you are after. Once we have the look right, we will then collate any pages you want installed, text for various pages. CONTROL WEBSITE CONTENT VIA ADMIN AREA

You have your own website admin area, giving you full control of all aspects of your website and shop. With our detailed handover guide, written in plain English with screenshots, you’ll soon be utlising all aspects of the user friendly admin area to control your website. Whether you are needing to update regularly or just every now and then, it’s entirely up to you. You can access the admin area from any device linked to the internet, so you can login to check, edit, etc at anytime, anywhere.

BUILT IN DRAG AND DROP SITE BUILDER

We include a superb drag and drop site builder in admin, allowing site owner to quickly and easily edit/add features to website without any specialist computer or web skills – it literally does what it says, you have a large selection of elements and features you can add to any page (maps, portfolios, product previews, page dividers, columned sections, headline text and loads more) which can be selected from menu, dragged to the live preview of website page, dropped where you want it, change the settings if needed and save – website instantly updated! ADDITIONAL PAGES

As above, our standard price includes the full set up of your website plus installing the first 5 pages. Typically, your information website will have an About Us page, Our Services page, Gallery/Portfolio page, Contact Us page and site info pages (privacy policy, T&C’s, payments, etc), but you are not restricted to these pages nor page titles. We will set up whatever 5 pages you require.
Following handover, you will have full control of the website and can add new pages whenever and as often as you like. You are not restricted on how many pages you can have – you can add however many pages you need to promote your services. Our handover guide, will take you through step by step how to create the new page, how to add content and how to link it to existing website menu.
This is your website and you are free to grow it how you like.

BLOG ENTRIES

In addition to the information element to the website, we’ll install a blog facilty and you can add unlimited blog posts – blogging is a wonderful addition to your website, as blog entries are short snippets (or longer entries) of the latest news, special offers, reviews, customer testimonials, details of upcoming events – in fact, any information you want to publish! This gives you the option of keeping all the main information pages, but having a newsletter/blog with all the latest information – not only keeping new fresh content, but has the newest information at the forefront.
This is an additional feature, which you are free to use if you want – if you just wish to stick to the main information pages, you don’t have to use the blog facility.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We install built in social media sharing links onto website, allowing you or any customer to share your store, individual products or pages on a multitude of differing social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and many more. We can also add Follow buttons – Perfect for building a growing audience, reach customer who might of otherwise not found you. A must have in the modern online world.

ADD VIDEOS

You can add videos to the website if you like – be these your own videos or ones from youtube. Have demonstration videos, review videos – effectively create your own video channel – perfect promotional tool allowing you to create content that attracts potential customers to your store.

FAQs

Can I request any colour scheme for my website?

Yes, we will install a standard format initially, then as part of the customisation stage of site build, we liaise with you to establish the colour scheme you want. We can make the information website colour scheme anything you like.

Do I need any specialist computer skills to run a website?

Absolutely not. We’ve deliberately used software that allows anyone to run one of our websites from a user friendly admin area. If you can use a mouse or keyboard, you are qualified! We will supply detailed guide, written in plain English with screenshots, to lead you through the running of the website and provide links to detailed online support that is available 24/7 to answer any queries.

Can I add my own pages to website?

Yes – our price includes the full set up of your website plus installing the first 5 pages. Typically, these would be the Home page, About Us page, Our Services page, Gallery/Portfolio page, Contact Us page plus we’ll add site info pages (privacy policy, T&C’s, payments, etc). However, you will be able to add any number of additional pages you wish. It is incredibly simple to do from the admin area, but we will supply you with our exclusive handover guide, written in plain English with screenshots, to lead you through how to do it.

How many additional pages can I add to the site?

Pretty much as many pages as you like. Your web hosting package may limit how many – but even on our standard hosting package, you get 10Gb of webspace – so this would be sufficient to add tens of thousands of pages (unless each page is crammed full of large photos and/or videos). Our unlimited web hosting package allows you unlimited web space.

Do I have to have my contact information on the site?

The content of the website is entirely up to you – if you want to display contact information (and which contact information), no problem. Equally, if you have no need or desire to have contact information on website, this is no issue and up to you. We’ll install whatever you want upon set up and you will then be free to add, edit or delete whenever you want following handover.

How do I know if an order has been made?

You will receive an automated email from the store advising you an order has been made, which includes full details of said order. You will also be able to check all orders from the admin area and if you’ve accepted payment via Stripe/Paypal or other payment processor, you’ll get an email from them too.

Can I add adverts to the website?

Absolutely – it’s your website, how you use it is up to you. You can add advert banners, text links and insert them onto website pages. You can use your own banners, commission banners or sell the space to others.

Can I use my own hosting?

Yes, if you wish. The price for our Information websites includes a full years FREE web hosting. You will get full access to the hosting account (which will be yours) and during that year, you are entirely free to transfer to your own hosting at no extra cost. You are under no contractual obligation to remain with our hosting. NB. You can transfer website free of charge yourself at any time during free hosting period, but please note as the hosting is provided free, there would be no refund pro-rata or otherwise for any hosting allowance not used.
If you require us to transfer/install onto another hosts server, we have a one off cost of £49.95 (additional cost covers the extra time required due to manual processes needed on another hosts servers, that we have automated/streamlined on our own servers).
If you want us to install a new website directly onto your hosting from the outset, again the additional one off cost of £49.95 is applied (additional cost covers the extra time required due to manual processes needed on another hosts servers, that we have automated/streamlined on our own servers). There would be no reduction in cost for not using the free hosting we include as part of package.

Can I have any domain I like?

Firstly, the domain has to be available (we will help you with this). Our price includes a free .co.uk domain name. You can request a .com, .net, .info , etc domain but there may be an extra small cost for this to secure registration.

I already own a domain, can I use that for the website?

Absolutely – we will ask that you point the domain to our servers to use for website (see “Can I use my own hosting?” if don’t want our hosting). NB. Where you use your own existing domain name, a free .co.uk domain will not be supplied with the website package, nor reduction made in lieu of it.

How quickly will the website be installed and handed over to me?

We aim to have new ecommerce websites built and handed over within 5-7 days of purchase and can often be quicker. As detailed in the product package page, we have a staged process post purchase to collate the information from you to build / customise your website. The speed at which we complete your website will also be governed by the speed of your responses to emails sent during this period. All we ask is that you respond quickly to any information requests we send you and we will have your site built within advised timescale.
